A message from your Scientific Organizing Committee
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the International Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome Congress, which will take place in Paris from May 27 to May 29, 2027.
Shwachman-Diamond syndrome (SDS) is a rare multisystem disorder that continues to raise many scientific, medical and societal challenges. Progress can only be achieved through close collaboration between researchers, clinicians, patients and families across the world.
The ambition of this meeting is to bring together the international SDS community to share the latest advances in basic science, genetics, hematology, immunology, transplantation, supportive care and innovative therapies, while fostering collaborations that will improve the lives of patients.
Beyond science, this congress recognizes the essential role of patients, families and patient advocacy groups. Living with SDS involves not only medical challenges but also important educational, social and professional issues throughout life.
Dedicated Patient & Family sessions will therefore be organized alongside the scientific program. Translation services will be available to facilitate participation and encourage exchanges between participants from different countries.
We look forward to welcoming you to Paris for three days of science, collaboration and shared commitment to improving the future of individuals living with Shwachman-Diamond syndrome.
